With easy access by car from the M4 and M5 motorways and fresh, home cooked food served all day, the position of The Thames Head Inn makes it ideal for corporate accommodation and business meetings, to stay after a party or as a base for weekend and midweek breaks. The train station at the nearby village of Kemble is only minutes away and has regular, direct rail links to London with journey times of just over an hour.


Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement only.

A booking with The Thames Head Inn is a contract. Should you need to amend or cancel your booking we reserve the right to charge the full amount of accommodation we are unable to re-let.
We accept credit/debit cards in payment of accounts. Card holder details will be used for no show / late cancellation transactions.
Unconfirmed bookings will be automatically released in seven days, without further communication.
Check-in time is from 2.00 p.m. Earlier by arrangement. Check out is 10.30 a.m.

The Thames Head Inn is on the A433 between the popular Gloucestershire towns of Tetbury (5.7 miles) and Cirencester (2.8 miles), the pub is said to be named after the spot where the River Thames begins its 184 mile journey to London Bridge.
